Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what we do

Bizabeza is a marketplace that helps travellers discover and book stays, transport, and local experiences ("Side Quests") in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, from independent third-party providers ("Partners").

Bizabeza acts as an intermediary that facilitates bookings and payments between you and Partners. Except where we expressly state otherwise, the Partner — not Bizabeza — provides the booked service and is responsible for it.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Services. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials secure, and to be responsible for all activity under your account.

We may suspend or close accounts that provide false information, are used for fraud, or breach these Terms.

3. Bookings and payments

When you place a booking, you make an offer to purchase the selected service at the total price shown, which includes any applicable service fee. Your booking is confirmed only after payment is successfully verified. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Paystack; Bizabeza does not store your full card details.

Prices are shown in Nigerian Naira (₦). The amount you are charged is the total displayed at checkout. Booking-specific rules, cancellation windows, and refund eligibility are set out in our Booking Terms and Refund Policy.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree to use the Services lawfully and in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy and Community Guidelines, to provide accurate booking details, and to comply with a Partner’s reasonable rules at the point of service.

5. Partner services and our role

Partners are independent businesses. Bizabeza does not own, operate, or control the stays, transport, or experiences listed and is not a party to the contract you form with a Partner for the underlying service. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of Partners, but we will use reasonable efforts to help resolve issues.

6. Cancellations, changes and refunds

Cancellations, reschedules, and refunds are governed by the Booking Terms and Refund Policy applicable to your booking and shown before you pay.

7. Intellectual property

The Services, including the Bizabeza name, logo, and content we create, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or exploit them except as permitted by these Terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bizabeza is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for the acts or omissions of Partners. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Nigerian law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud. Where we are liable, our total liability for a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. You may stop using the Services at any time and may delete your account (see our Account & Data Deletion page).

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and, where changes are material, notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of the Services after the changes take effect means you accept them.

Governing law

This document is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kwara State, Nigeria.
